논문초록 Cancer is a dangerous disease considered as a major cause of death among non-infectious diseases, and treatment methods include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy, but are known to have side effects. To overcome this, research such as photothermal treatment (PTT) has recently been conducted to convert light to heat and kill tumor cells using high temperature. However, due to its non-specific properties, it is highly likely to affect tumor cells and surrounding cells. This study proposes a treatment that can selectively kill tumors using MXene, which has excellent photothermal effect. The surface of MXene nanoparticles was modified using an RGD peptide that binds to integrin αVβ3 of tumor cells. And the tumor targeting ability of the modified MXene was evaluated by comparing it with normal cells. As a result, it suggests that it can be applied to various fields by assigning specific characteristics according to the modification of MXene, an organic material.
